Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident in every purchase from SaltLightLuxe. If something isn’t quite right, our return process is simple and fair.

1. Returns Eligibility

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us of your intention to return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.

  • Items that appear worn, altered, damaged, or returned without tags will not be eligible for a refund.

  • We do not offer exchanges. If you’d like a different size or style, please return the item for a refund and place a new order.

2. How to Process Your Return

To make your return as seamless as possible:

  1. Log in to your account on our website.

  2. Go to the Returns section (found in our main menu).

  3. Fill out the Return Request Form, including:

    • Your full name and email

    • Order number

    • Item(s) you wish to return

    • A brief reason for the return (to help us improve)

  4. Submit the form online.

  5. You’ll receive a confirmation email with further instructions. If applicable, a return shipping label will be provided.

📦 Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or not as described.

3. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email to confirm the outcome.

  • If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, but please allow up to 14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Return Standards

If a returned item does not meet our return standards — such as being visibly worn, damaged, stained, washed, or missing original tags/packaging — we may need to reject the return.

In such cases:

  • We will contact you with clear photos and an explanation.

  • You’ll have the option to have the item shipped back to you.

We handle every return with care and transparency, aiming to make the process smooth and fair for everyone.

5. Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your rights under UK law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to:

  • A full refund for faulty or misdescribed items

  • A 14-day window to cancel most online purchases

  • Clear information about your order and return rights

6. Data Protection & GDPR

In line with data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data (where legally allowed)

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable at checkout

  • Items purchased using promotional discount codes (unless otherwise stated)

  • Most sale or clearance items, unless return eligibility is clearly stated on the product page
